Have you seen much of a mileage hit, or is it hard to tell with a Prime?

Good question. Intuitively, yes,but i must admit I have not been paying much attention before or after. Handlig, especially cornering is noticeably better. The car feels nicely planted.

Pls send pix of wider tires on car. This sounds like a nice size. Who makes the rims

I kept the original rims minus the plastic covers. Pics will follow at some point :)

Due to rims from third generation 4th generation and the Prius v fit on the 5th generation?

Cool. '55s still have plenty of sidewall height.

yes. I'm not a fan of the current short sidewall fashion, but for the 215 I'd consider anything taller "overkill".

Also, nice pics of your reservoir blue Prius. Mine currently is on a ship off the coast of North Carolina. :)

What's the details on the rims like who makes them and where'd you get them?

Is the Prius V the wrong offset? The bolt pattern is correct and not shared with the Gen IV regular Prius.

I gave my 5x100 Prius wheels to a neighbor with a Corolla and have looked at Prius V 5x114.3 wheels for winter tire use.

    AWD????
    In a - PRIUS??? especially a G5 PRIUS???

FWD is worth more to ME.
    No contest.
It means fewer potential maintenance issues, and more likely to be driven by a cost-conscience owner who might have actually lifted the hood and checked their own oil by themselves every now and then.
MAYBE even as often as the owner's manual tells them to.

AWD doesn't bring enough additional capability to the game for a small, low slung eco-hatch to be worth the squeeze in my never to be humbled opinion.

    Thanks.
If you mean the ones in my pics, they are the standard rims that come with the 17" wheels minus the abs wheel covers.

@reservoirblue - looks like you put center caps on the wheels to cover the hubs. Where did you get them/do you have a part # you can share?

Measured and bought them on Ebay. They are generic and cost about $ 10 for four ;) 56/60 mm.
