it fluctuates. the owner john henry is a financial wizard. he makes more money by staying competitive enough to keep fans in the seats and products selling. if the stars align, they win a world series, but it's rarely by spending as much as possible.
Betting odds favored LAD before Series and before most games so far. But TOR has exceeded expectations, and returns home with a good chance to get Trophy and Rings and whatever the other goodies are. This Series will do well with eye$ on (FOX) ads. For game 6 in-house seating, ESPN now informs that tickets are available for from USD$1724. The better team will prevail.
i was shocked again this morning, well done jays! this has been one of the more enjoyable world series, regardless of who wins. i was surprised at the amount of bluejays fans at the game, maybe they're from ontario
I suppose you are talking about Ontario, a city in Riverside County, California, rather than the Canadian province of Ontario, correct? I would guess many of them are from either place, but not all. As I have noted, the whole country is on the bandwagon. As a Mariners sympathizer, one of my pet peeves is how people from Vancouver, BC come down to T-Mobile Park and drown out the Mariners fans whenever the Blue Jays are in town. Vancouver is 3,000 miles from Toronto, but only 150 from Seattle. I guess my Western Canadian jealousy about Eastern Canadian dominance still finds it way to the surface. For Canadians on here who think I'm being unpatriotic, let me point out that the Mariners had 2 guys from Ontario, Canada on their playoff roster, the Blue Jays had none.
