Hey, all, 2011 3rd gen here. When I turn a sharp left (like doing a U-turn, doesn't have to be all that fast), if I turn steering wheel all the way to the left and I am going too fast (even if it is under 10mph), I will get this terrible sound that sounds like a tire grating up against the wheel well or something, ALONG with a beeping sound like a warning. It is truly annoying. My mechanic even after checking everything out, tells me, "that's just the way these are" but can't tell me what it is. It does not happen when turning right, though. Can anyone guess what it is? I really hate it. Otherwise everything is great, and has been checked out. Thank you! A
Is there any light on the dash that also flashes when there is beeping? Could you make a video that shows the dash and has the sound? Are the tires the same size on both sides, equally inflated, and about equally worn?
Wheel well liner flapping misding fasteners . The beep mess should be a companied by a flashing amber traction control light I believe. All wheels n tyres must be same size exactly .
btw, mechanic is wrong. try turning all the way to the left and creep while someone watches the tyre and listens
