Priusv Fob and intermittent opening door

    Priusv fob does not always open door. I click it, stand next to car and sometimes it works. Seems like after I drive and come back, it works. I have tried both fobs, new batteries, same issue. Any ideas? Thanks.

    12v auxiliary battery is how old? Getting colder outside?

    Battery is original, 2104...11 yrs. I was thinking this also. Thanks.

    I would suspect the door lock solenoid as well.

    Does the lock function always work?

    Does the door handle open function work on your v3 trim?

    Do you have "all doors open" setting enabled and if so, do the other doors open? If not enabled, do so as a test.
