changing trunk open button possible??

    Hello, I'm korean prius owner and i am surfing to find an answer of my question in the web.
    korean prius se model doesn't have trunk lock button, so if i should open the trunk, open the gate with key or touching the driver side handle.
    if i only change this button, is it worked??

    You'll need to ensure it has an antenna to detect the key in order to lock (or unlock) the tailgate with the electronic key.

    I don't know if the switch contains the antenna or if you need another part.

    I spoke with the service manager at my dealership about this issue. He said the option is not available on all levels of trim, and running a wire would be necessary. I would say it's not worth all the trouble.
