Dome lights not working with doors open

    My dome lights are not turning on when I open the doors or unlock the car with the remote. Both the dome and the map lights work when manually switched on. Light switches are all set to doors. The door sill lights work when the doors are opened, which means the door switches are functioning properly. The trunk light functions fine.

    Play around with the selector switch a bit? I seem to remember accidentally getting it into this situation sometimes, the switch could be put into an in-between position where the doors wouldn't activate it. Though mine was a 2012 Three with solar sunroof, with had a different switch configuration than others without sunroof.

    I tried that a bunch. Moving the switch back and forward thinking it could be a bad connection.
    Still no luck unfortunately.
