My top is trash, heavily faded and oxided. The car is the seaside.
Pearl color. My thoughts are to paint the roof, deck plate, liftgate latch panel and poissible tge hood. I want a duplicolor that can be picked up local and easily available and cheap. I dont want to do black on blue. I tired gmc bahama on the latch panel and these colors dont blend well. I was thinking of a dark purple almost black. Would that be crazy? OR what about duplicolor galaxy?

The color code for Seaside Pearl used on the 2nd Generation Toyota Prius is 8S2.

Can you not get a can of Duplicolor in the exact Toyota color?

No they dont make it and the 8s2 is expensive like $30-$40 a can. On order us a 6 pack of rustoleum charcol gloss for $36 from walmart. Not sure. My latch panel us dupli gmc bahams and looks bad. My thoughts are the charcol is neutral and might blend well.
