    Hi everyone,

I’ve been seeing a few rear vent mods for other compact cars (integras, elantras, civics, etc.) that add vents to the back of the armrest.

Example mod/kit from the latest gen Civic: https://www.reddit.com/r/civic/s/p8fGgnBbXR

Does such a mod/kit exist for the latest gen Prius? I couldn’t find anything online unfortunately. Asking for friends that ride with me lol.

not that i have ever seen or heard of. but the number of civics sold probably makes mods more lucrative.
are there vents under the front seats? is the rear seat heated?

It looks like it's possible to do in the Civic because cars from other markets(Japan) have it and you can use those parts to create the retrofit(basically what I did with my side mirrors). The problem with the gen5 is that there are no markets where there are rear vents, so any retrofit would have to be totally done from scratch.

There are currently vents under both front seats, but I've never bothered to check if they operate all the time or only when the HVAC is set to floor.

The other HVAC thing I wish we had was dual zone climate. A person should theoretically($$$$) be able to retrofit a US Prime/Plug-In to have dual zone using parts from European Priuses, but there's no way to convert a regular Prius HEV.
