Yeah, I should probably order an engine and a cabin air filter, too.

Those little parts are packed in bags of ten but sold individually. Chances are that you will get two unopened bags. If you order less than ten, they usually give them to you in the original bag with the number ten struck through and the actual number handwritten and store the rest in a bin in their stockroom. Did you order the 90942-05039 or the 90942-A5002? They should be the same Pacific Industrial Co., Ltd. part made in Japan in any case with only the packing country being different.

Apparently, the Toyota part number for the made-in-Japan Pacific Industrial Co., Ltd. CL-type non-TPMS tire valve cap is 90942-05035.

The following image from the Toyota parts catalog shows the Pacific CL-type non-TPMS tire valve cap (large cap in the bottom-left drawing) and PVC25-type TPMS tire valve cap (small cap in the top-left insert). Apparently, the brand for the TPMS monitor is Pacific itself per the FCC labels in the bottom insert.

And the part number for the OEM light-gray/silver TPMS tire valve caps on older Toyotas is 90942-A5004. They are not made by Pacific Industrial Co., Ltd. of Japan, as all genuine Pacific tire valve caps are black.

A "friend" told me to just go to a dealership after hours and roam around the lot. Lots of valve caps available.

When I bought my Barcelona-red-metallic 2009 Corolla XLE from Longo Toyota in February 2008, two of the light-gray/silver OEM tire valve caps were missing. I thought that was negligence by the dealer when adding air to the tires, but now I know why. LOL

I asked the sales guy if I could take tire valve caps from other new cars to replace my missing ones, and he said go ahead. :)

I didn't think politics was appropriate in this forum.
