Upholstery/Seat Covers ?

    Thank you.I was trying to pop it off gently not to break anything on a new vehicle. I'll try to use long screwdriver like on that video to unlock the bench. Thanks again for ideas.

    Why put seat covers on?
    I like the way the black leatherette looked and lasted on my MINIs, so that's why I'd go for something similar.
    The cloth on the LE seems a little cheap feeling to me.

    Yeah, everyone's different. Good question. Pretty sure you're referring to the EKR here, I think when I ordered them, the total was 175 shipped to an official EKR installation/seller in LA (called them directly and they ordered for cheaper, the burgundy) and then I think it was 90 to install there.

    So the total price was super reasonable. Got some discount on the initial purchase. But yeah, why? because they do look/feel amazing and it was about half of the price you quoted, installed and all.

    Well, I'm going ahead with it. EKR was selling a complete set on eBay in black for 270 delivered, so I went with it.
    I wish I could get a shop to install it-maybe I'll look around.
    There's snow on the ground here now and I have an unheated garage-not ideal for wrestling vinyl.
    edit: Did your shop install them while you waited?

    I bought a small 400 Watt heater to keep things somewhat warm, though the doors will be open a lot, I suppose.
    I'll be able to use it around the house as well as a personal heater.

    yeah, it took them about 90 minutes. not that it takes that long. with two people or indestructible hands and techniques probably 20 minutes.

    they will probably heat them up before begining, if it's sunshine or something. definitely makes a difference you're right
