Hi everyone, I’m running into a strange issue with my 2014 Prius and could use some help figuring out what’s going on. About once every two weeks or a month, my dashboard suddenly lights up with yellow ABS, parking brake, and ESP lights. When I scan for codes, it consistently shows U0073 (Control Module Communication Bus Off). The weird part is that the car drives fine, and the lights completely disappear as soon as I turn the engine off and restart it. It resets as if nothing happened, but then the issue inevitably returns a few weeks later. It’s worth mentioning that I had the entire ABS assembly replaced about six months ago. I’m worried that the part might be failing again, but since it resets so easily, I’m wondering if it could be something simpler like a loose connection or a wiring issue. Has anyone experienced this specific code with these symptoms? Do I need to be looking at replacing the ABS unit again, or should I be checking something else first? Thanks for the help!
