this website has gone ballistic.

Slow as molasses right now, and it's been thus off-and-on for the last few days.

 

They forgot to feed the hamsters again.

 

I get slow or no response to post saves lately.

 

Will probably jinx it- but everything seems to be hunky-dory from up our way

 

I noticed uploading attachments in particular was bogging down. Sometimes it’s fine, sometimes slowish, sometimes nearly unresponsive. No “cloudflair” messages though.

Have only recently been active but lurked for years, occasional post. Seemed every time I would, odd typos in posts. Guess that explains that

Seems okay now mostly, but for some hours in the evening (am HST, so beddy-bye for the rest of the Western World by dinnertime). Been a member of many, many forums whose 'failure-point-at-which-I-care' was far higher than this

If you're ever accessing the site on an iPhone, you really need to be on your toes. It's seemed to abate "slightly, sometimes" of late, but the issue is getting stale versions of pages. If you post, then edit-and-save the post, and then do it a second time, you typically will be looking at a stale version, the second time 'round. Unless you refresh the page. It took me a maddening while to catch on: would do an edit, save it, and: "What the heck, didn't I just add another paragraph???".

Ditto for the New Posts page.

Anyhoo.

Off to a vet buddy's for T-Day dinner -- good thing I ate already (can't eat as much of the yummy heart-stopping stuff these days, so load up on healthy stuff when going to holiday gatherings -- gotta do what works, or the price can be literally an agonising-days-long death in my case)
