Well, or trusty 2016 Leaf was suffering some serious battery degradation (4 bars down = 45% reduction) and many other “old car” things happening like suspension issues, etc, so it was time to move on. My wife loves her Leaf and wanted another one. With ever increasing prices and elimination of government incentives (Canada), new ones are quite expensive, but used ones can be had for a song due to high depreciation.

A 2023 SL Plus (loaded) model - with less than 9K KM (~5K miles)- came up on AutoTrader, so we went to visit and it was MINT, and the dealer was only asking for CAD$26K, which is only a hair more than half of the MSRP of CAD$50K.

Negotiated on our trade and brought it home today.

Very impressed so far on the first day! The dealer was >100km from home, we left with a full charge with and estimated range of 339km. We travelled 106km at highway speeds with liberal heater usage, and still arrrived with 67% and 261km range remaining, which makes NO sense (nearly 30km above estimated range??), but am certainly happy with it.

congrats, it's beautiful, i love it! i took a look at the '26 online, and will definitely be comparing it to the '27 bolt and a couple others when we trade our '23 bolt.
