Got this decal to cover the hole from now-removed Hymotion PHEV system's outlet.

I figured the 5K would be a fun nod to the number of miles.

That hole is in the rear bumper cover? If water were to leak in there is there any chance it could migrate to a spot where it would cause problems? If so, maybe seal the hole before putting the sticker over it.

Nope. It won't harm anything. The bumper cover is single wall and hollow. In a sense, the decal is the seal for the hole.

I'll leave that up to the next owner.

What are you planning on selling this 5K Prius for?

I took 200+ photos in preparation for selling. I gotta say it sure looks great!

It will likely get listed mid teens if I sell it myself. That would be preferable. If you know anyone interested please have them contact me.

Else it will go to enthusiast/collector auction where it will likely bring the same amount except have more fees for the buyer.

I may start a separate discussion about that.
I'm considering which site would be the best for this and would be looking for input.

I personally do not know of anybody that views the Prius as a collectable car. Maybe a 1st gen Prius one day. I also do not see the intrinsic value of a 5K mile Prius that has been stored outside for close to two decades. I personally think you should drive it for a couple thousand miles to make sure the cobwebs have been remedied. Putting a new set of tires on it was a smart move. I have is about the traction battery. They say batteries do better when driven often or for high milage. In the case of your 5K Gen 2. Does this mean time does not play a factor in how long the battery will last?
