Gen 3 was a walk in the park. We have Classic Silver Metallic (1F7) body colour, and the rims are apparently that as well:

I've been in your shoes though, trying to colour match some curb-rashed Tesla rims, indeterminate, dark-grey colour. Googling I found some concensus on forums, went with a Dupli-Color in a most likely contender; it was "close enough".

I took a closer look today. The wheel covers appear to have a metallic quality to them. Whatever.

FWIW, my very dark-grey Dupli-Color (for Tesla 3 rims) is:

    FORD CX
    Dark Shadow Grey
    CAFM 0360

The Dupli-Color pens have an abrasive "nib" at one end (some sort of glass fibre?), that's good for smoothing out small gouges on the rim edges. By no means seamless, but better, unless you're looking at them right up close. Also two wands, a foam one with clear coat, and a nail polish style brush for the color coat. There's small ball bearing in the color coat to help mix it when shook.
