Has anyone done it? I was looking online researching balancing beads and they work well from what i took away. But, actual balancing beads are fairly expensive for what they are and i asked chatgpt if i was able to substitute rice instead, and it told me why that was a bad idea. Instead it offered 6mm BBs, 500 per tire, you can buy a can of 5000 for $15 vs balancing beads at $40 and they hold the same properties of being water resistant and what not.

Anyways, i do my own mount and dismount of tires at home and the issue i been having was they are always out of balance afterwards. Even when i try to balance them with the sticky pad weights using a cheap harbor freight balancer, its never on point. I think ill be switching to beads on all my tires from now on. Just wondering what the driving experience is with them if anyone has them right now before i attempt this.

Are you like totally off grid or something?
-the balancing beads rolling around inside the rim is for dudes on the farm with the cheap mud terrains. (Cheap mud terrains are notorious for taking a lot of weight in multiple places)

I imagine anything in the prius rim would devastate the tps's.

    mount your own: cool
    Balance your own successfully: cool
If you cant get it, take it to someone who has a $35k machine that gets it right the first try.

Crack open the welded wallet and have them professionally balanced. Stepping over a dollar to save a dime..........
