On the 2013 Prius, the driver side (left, US) insert is part no. 85214-68020. It’s approximately 25” long. For the passenger side (right, US), the part number is 85214-30390, and it is approximately 18” long. I used to order these from Amazon. First time everything was perfect. This time, the driver side was 3” too short. Because they were shipped without a way to distinguish which was which for the return, both were sent back for replacement. The replacement had the same issue. Anyone know what’s going on? I see sites indicating a new part number superseding the driver side one, but it doesn’t fit the application. How do I track down correct sized replacements?
I like my hybrid assy I buy from ? About 12 bux a pop new not faded . Rt off shelf in many brands . I think Wal Mart has Toyoda inserts now . In Toyoda boxes . Like their oil filters on the oil aisle
I replaced our fronts with these, and yup, same numbers: 85214-30390 85214-68020 Check with a dealership parts department?
Those are the correct Toyota part numbers. Part number 85214-68020 for the left side (left-hand drive car) is 650mm (25.59") long. If the item you receive is too short, return it and find someplace else to order it from. The inserts are not very expensive, so look at buying them from your local Toyota parts department. Part number 85214-30390 for the right side (left-hand drive car) is 475mm (18.70") long.
If they're not marked or individually packaged with markings; there's a high likelihood someone in your nearest Amazon warehouse tossed the wrong stuff into the wrong bin. Most of those warehouses are automated, so human error can cause an entire batch to be wrong. You can just keep pounding your head against the wall or simply go down to the dealership and get the correct ones. You may eventually get the correct ones, once they exhaust the bad batch in that bin. Even if warehouse personnel go out and physically look into that bin, without proper packaging and markings - its a wiper blade insert. Sorry....
