A couple weeks ago a lady hit my 2nd gen in a parking lot. The impact went in to my bike rack, destroying the rack and actually bending the 1.25" receiver slightly. The square opening is now tilted a couple degrees to the right. The other party did the right thing and replaced the rack and the receiver, so I have no more use for this thing. Seems a shame to throw it in the trash, though. If any of you can make use of it, it's yours. I'm in Santa Rosa (North Bay Area, California). If you can't pick it up, I could be convinced to ship it for a small fee. Only thing really pertinent here is does the one and a quarter inch piece w ball still insert ? When that is installed is the ball cocked to the right or the left with pin in?
