what's this strip sticking out of window?

    This black strip just popped out on my driver side window of a 2009 Prius. Can you guys tell me what it is, what it does, and how to fix it? Thank you.

    That looks like a piece of the weather strip that the window passes through. I recently replaced these on all the doors of my 2008 Prius. One looked like that, and the others weren't far behind. Wait for a Toyota parts sale if you can to save a few $$.
