Wheel and Tire fitment and TPMS questions

    Perhaps the 17s don't emphasize the small size of the rotors as much.

    Also the OEM wheels and tires weigh a ton.

    OEM TPMS sensors from the dealer are definitely more reliable and avoid most compatibility issues. But I’m using Autel sensors on mine and programmed them with a TPMS tool—no problems so far. DIY guy passing through.

    unfortunately here in NA, the CC3’s aren’t coming for a while hence I fitted the CC2 on my recently acquired’26 PHEV in SE trim using 215 55 17 but the dealership had to install new alloy rims and couldn’t use the OEM rims (not exactly sure why) as it had something to do with the fitment/width of the new tires vs OEM. I used tire size comparison and the specs are within tolerance but hey, dealership supplied the new alloy rims as part of the deal so why not
