So I replaced the engine with a JDM and cleaned all of the carboned-up parts including intake manifold, fuel injectors, throttle body, MAF, sensor on the intake manifold, all tubing, EGR cooler. I replaced the original Air/Fuel sensor from the JDM, with the original engine's upstream O2 sensor. Then after driving for a bit, I got P219A so I replaced the upstream sensor, MAF sensor, sensor on the intake manifold. Then I got similar codes. Then I replaced both O2 sensors with Bosch. Now I'm getting a pending P2237. The rest of the codes say permanent but are no longer pending. I was thinking maybe the wiring harness is bad to the Air/Fuel (upstream O2) sensor but am not convinced. After pulling it off, it looks sound with no compromise of the wires or burn evidence. Should I just bite the bullet and get Denso sensors? I am lost at this point
