Buckle up buttercup... The Robber Barrons have over-reached in the most outrageous of ways and New York City has always been at the forefront of where the US is moving to next... So has California. You can be a stick in the mud all you want. It's easier for our newly blooming social-Democratic movement to roll over you that way!

Point being you can only rip people off and piss them for so long before your worst nightmare of smashing inequality is finally made real.

 

Early on, one feels cautious about what they should say in public forums. I think I’ll watch Devils Arithmetic, haven’t seen that one.

The most harmful and destructive people in the world are the ones who are too cautious to speak out and dumbly go along with something that's obviously wrong. Most all of the world's suffering is not because of what evil people do, but because decent people who could actually speak up and prevent them from being evil were are too concerned about their own selfish needs rather than the greater good!
