We've known about this for years but it took a democratic majority to finally bring it to the table since the republicans stonewalled and kept the issue from getting real scrutiny. The fact that an oil company lobbyist (Philip A. Cooney, the chief of staff to President Bush’s Council on Environmental Quality who resigned from the position in June 2005) who has since gone to work for Exxon/Mobile was in charge of overseeing the findings of scientists and pressured them to remove hot button 'climate change' from their research is unbelievable but it shows once again the bush administration's utter disregard for anything and anyone but themselves and their bank accounts.

We need a good old fasioned presidential tar and feathering. I can't stand the idea that a bunch folks can get the entire human race a darwin award.
