Been gone for a bit, working on lots of projects and holidays but this is whats been done to the 2018 prius 2.

Transaxle fluid change, (drain, fill, drain fill)
The second drain and fill id agree, not necessary. But hey, toyota engineers said to do it (as i perceived... whats up with these manuals complexity!? )

    anyways......

I pulled direct vin specific part numbers from
    https://partsouq.com/
then took to my local dealer. https://partsouq.com/ Also provides detailed clickable part groups.... very handy.

Im a big fan of -do it while im in it- so it got new draincocks (lol) and draincock gaskets.
Threw a new coolant tank in there as well.

it took 1.75 jugs of SLLC (i had a spare that was new.

I measured the stance of the car on the level ground off the pinch welds for reference, raised the car on the ramps, found the slope of my driveway, did the math and raised the rear onto jackstands.

I used a fluid extractor to send fluid into the trans, let it gravity drain, followed the book that i found here. -you know who you are thanks dude!!!!!!!!-

-The inverter system will suck the reservoir dry immediately, so i used my coolant funnel, full of coolant and it drained the whole reservoir, and funnel instantly.
The engine coolant system was a BBBBBB to burp.

Went with my "go to" oil and filter for the engine, Royal Purple and Wix.

Today it went to the dealer for plugs, $550 OUCH!!!!!
