maybe an installation problem with the new wheel bearing, or a bad bearing out of the box. was it oem?
i don't know their quality, but everyone has good and bad techs, and are subject to inferior parts except oem
interesting tidbit. The new bearing on the driver’s front reads 8-9% slower than the other three. AND, its speed is displayed on the speedometer. So, this entire time, I’ve been driving about 5mph faster than I thought. i.e. 65 on the speedo was 70 in real time (checked with WAZE). That’s not the entirety of the mpg loss…but it’s all of half or more. Weird.
