There is a spoiler for Camry, I like that one and I wanted to make something like that. I printed 8 parts and combined them later. Material is Petg. Also, I will use 3M double sided tape for the bottom part. That's why I made bottom surface area big, because I wanted it to hold the car strongly. I Haven't fully combine yet What do you think? Did it even look good? Off course aerodynamic is very important but I dont have much information about that and I did not do any simulation test.
Looks pretty sick, do you have any pictures other angles? Side profile and front 3/4s view are important to me when I mod my car
IMO it would look better without the winglets(?) at each end. Also, maybe make it wider, front to back, on the actual spoiler, the base looks fine. As it is, the spoiler looks kind of thin (front to back).
yes I was thinking to design wider. Because this is pretty thin. I dont use it by the way, I just put there to see.
Are you willing to share the files for these or are they uploaded on any STL sites? It looks pretty sick, I’d like to print it in ABS.
I didnt finished that project, I just stopped doing it. If you want I can send the scanned data, If you are into modelling
That’s an ambitious print! Joining PETG parts can be tricky—if you haven't already, consider using a compatible adhesive (like PETG-specific glue or careful welding with a 3D pen) along with mechanical reinforcement inside for strength. A wide base with 3M VHB tape should hold well on clean, prepped paint.
