Hello, I have a new 2026 Prius XLE, has heated seats & I have a large hairy dog. Want lightweight seat covers that repel hair. I've ordered a couple, but they require an anchor being pushed into the seats. I read don't do this; it could damage the heat mechanism.
What are my options? Any recommendations and advice very much appreciated.
    Thank you!

It doesn't repel hair but it's cheap: moving blankets from Harbor Freight. I know it doesn't repel hair because it's what I use when I dog sit for my daughter.

I got several when they were giving them away to 'club members' or whatever they call it.
I figure, they come in handy once in a while, and could stay indefinitely in their plastic bags.
Interesting that it has a warning tag on it not to use it as a sleeping blanket. I wonder why? :)

edit: I bet it's because it catches fire easily, rather than chemicals.

Did you order this? Curious if Weather Tech took into consideration the vents along the bottom of the seats.

I’m still looking for washable seat covers for front seats. Using an old sheet is getting really annoying.
