So many dollars, and so few that can see and when they do,,, care.

    I'll bite: How much?

    Me?
I try not to open my hood. Oil consumption is minimal at 150k mi. My EV has spoiled me....(y)

Don’t open your hood. You cannot afford it.

    If you say so.
How many people do you show this Bling to? How many think it's a good idea?

Me? I try not to open my hood. On my Prius, and especially on my EV.

When you get an EV there may not be much bling to spend your hard earned money on. (Daddy's money?)
    At least 'under the hood'.
Hope that doesn't deter you. It's the future. We have to stop Burning Stuff.

Haven't posted in awhile. MPG is not great but with summer here, my mpg did go up. It's now between 40-44 mpg.

Here she is at the rodeo for my daughter's barrel race. Out of place but a decent picture out in the open country.

IMG_8388.jpeg Still enjoying the drive on this old Prius. Have a great summer! Hope all is well!

The grass was mowed along the drive aisles but granted I did grab a few dried grass blades with the plastic under tray. Driven it on different surfaces and so far so good.

Hope everyone is doing well! I have not posted much because I have purchased another Toyota! Regardless, I still have my beloved Persona!

The Prii is tired at over 260k miles. Just before the end of 2025, the check engine light came on. Luckily I had 2 Scangauge III connected to the car. These where the codes...

    IMG_9677.jpeg IMG_9676.jpeg
Looked it up and these are codes for the MAF,
    Mass Air Flow Sensor.

Did not want to spend $200-$300 on a new sensor so I went to my local O'Reilly store and purchased a $15 can of MAF Sensor Cleaner.

Watched a quick YouTube video and went through the process of removing the sensor and spraying the cleaner at quick bursts about 6 inches from the sensor. The components are fragile and if done incorrectly will render the part useless.

I let it dry completely , reconnected the sensor and screwed back into place.

I started the engine, cleared the codes and crossed my fingers.

After a few hundred miles since the cleaning, the code has not returned.

Persona is still kicking and still my daily driver. My teenager will be driving it soon once she gets her license.

Hoping to keep it for many years to come. Happy 2026 to everyone! I always look forward to all the posts. Thank you for all that contribute to this forum.
