Electrical safety when working on the hybrid battery

That's indeed a lot to deal with. Of all the repairs you have done so far, battery refurbishment is probably the easiest, though more time consuming. But if your new engine is burning that much oil, I don't blame you for wanting to get rid of the car. Keep in mind, you won't get much money at all. The car is worth more to you than anyone else. A better strategy may be to keep the car on the back burner, slowly repairing it on your own, and getting another one as daily driver. A brand new 2026 base corolla hybrid is an excellent choice.

The bolded part above is what has held me back so far. Even with all the trouble, I know how expensive it is to buy a even a used car now.
Luckily we have two other cars and a pickup. Well, a '66 Beetle too, but it's still in project phase.
