Hey guys. While backing out of the garage, I drove over a basketball(thanks to my kids). I heard some crunching noise which I thought was the car driving over acorns but when it persisted, I found the stupid basketball lodged under the front bumper on the driver side. I must have backed over it until it came all the way to the front. I looked underneath and didn't see any damage. The car drove fine afterwards. My question is, is there anything underneath that could be damaged by the basketball? Looks like it went under on the driver side. Any input is appreciated.
This was without raising the car any? I’d concur with @bettergolf: get it safely raised and have a good look.
most of the underneath is covered with plastic aero panels. worth going over it carefully so they don't fall while driving
The extent of damage, if any, might depend on the pressure in the ball. With typical pressure, it takes a good bit of force to flatten a basketball as thin as Prius ground clearance.
