    I drive a '19 Toyota. Paid for a maping update. Maybe $300 ! Ouch. Does less well going to the same places than my wife's '21 Toyota with seemingly the same display screen. I wonder if I could swap for one out of a wreck?

    We actually use GMAP printouts as backups sometimes. The navigator uses them.

    heading for our hotel on I-95, pulled off to go to Panera. the location was confusing, and we plugged our hotel into google maps for directions.
    only 10 miles away, it was trying to take us in the wrong direction and calculating 30 minutes.
    we found I-95 on our own, restarted google, and it still wanted to take us back off 95 to get to the hotel.
