2023+ Prius LE (Gen5) - Rear passenger seat 3D printed cup holders

I wanted to share a small project I’ve been working on for the Gen 5 Prius LE that focuses on improving rear seat usability without permanent modification.
This design replaces the factory rear center console USB charger cover using the same OEM-style clip-in mounting, so it can be installed or removed without altering the vehicle. The goal was to add usable rear seat cup holders while keeping a factory-like appearance and full access to the USB charging port.

After a few design iterations and fitment testing, the final version has been installed and tested in a 2024 Gen 5 Prius LE. The cup holders are modular and swappable to accommodate different drink sizes, and the clip tolerances were refined to improve fit and durability.

Installation was straightforward overall, though one of my early trim removal pry tools didn’t hold up as expected, which led to a small redesign on that part. I’m continuing to refine that part based on real-world use.

I’m sharing this here mainly to document the design approach and see if others ran into similar rear seat cup holder limitations on the Gen 5. Happy to answer questions about fitment, materials, or the design process.
