2007 Prius Touring with 206K miles. Performed an oil change today. Drained Pennzoil Ultra Platinum (PUP) 5w30 and replaced with Valvoline Restore & Protect 5w30. Hoping the Valvoline R&P will do some internal engine cleaning. Took the opportunity to install a Fumoto drain valve F133S replacing the factory drain bolt and washer.

Instructions for the Fumoto drain valve is to hand tight. It comes with a blue fiber washer. After hand tightening, turn the valve using a crescent wrench 1/8 to 1/4 a turn. I tightened it about a 1/4 turn.

Yes been using those for years they're great no issue in about twenty years or so . That valve has many iterations . Over the years . Makes oil changes a bit faster . No need ramps .
