Solution to 12V issues? Disconnect 12v negative terminal sensor plug

    Gently pry up on the locking clip and pull the connector back. Battery monitor should show 14+V, anytime the car is in ready mode.

    Of course it's anyone's choice to obsessively monitor voltages with a calibrated Fluke meter,
    to replace the battery at the first sign of degradation.
    But I'll speak for the rest of us, who recognize that a battery begins to degrade the moment you start using it,
    and we will try to get the best use out of it before replacing it.

    It can be a fine line though, can't it? Cold snap, car starts fine in the unheated garage, park somewhere-like at an event at night, perhaps not by oneself, come out-no start. Break out the jump pack at -9f. Ugh.

    I'd rather upgrade the battery before I chased after factory specs.

    I bought a 100 Ah lithium battery to replace the factory one, but I went a different route;
    I put it in parallel with my OEM battery, connected with a smart isolator.
    I've had zero problems since I fine-tuned the settings.

    I am curious. What settings did you change on the smart isolator?

    Are you still using the NOCO battery charger to charge the 12v battery, or don't you need to use it any longer?

    I plug in my NOCO whenever I park where there is an outlet available.
    The 100Ah battery is no help in starting the car when the OEM 12V battery is flat.

    If memory serves...
    I set the cutoff voltage just under what the 12V OEM battery is set to charge to.
    It cuts in whenever the lithium battery falls below the 12V system voltage.

    I believe I have posted the settings on here a few months back, but I have probably tweaked them a bit since then.
