I have the multimedia system and noticed that it doesnt have android auto at all or even carplay, i only see "mirrorlink"

I tried looking what i can do, but with no success i didnt manage to find anything.

Can someone help me get a solution what i can do to get android auto without replacing the multimedia? Here is some pictures of hoe the multimedia looks

Have you tried attaching your android phone to the USB. There is no wireless Android Auto on the 2021 Prime.

Your floor mats are from Avis. Did you (or the previous owner) buy a used Prius from Avis? The rental companies sometime install their proprietary user interface firmware in the stereo.

In the states; that head unit is compatible with android auto, wired into a data USB cable. Use the USB plug next to the lighter and make sure you have a data USB cable, NOT a charge only cable. As soon as I plug my Samsung phone in; Android Auto pairs with the Toyota system.
Does the Bluetooth pair with that head unit?

I did try with a data cable and even selected that it will transfer data/anroid auto.

My phone is indeed connected to the bluetooth of the car.

At this point i am honestly will give a call to toyota and see if anything can be done to help

Take your charge cable and phone; plug it into any computer - see it they will talk to each other. That will tell you if it's a phone and cable issue or a car issue.

    Good Luck....
