I said I was going to get this and I pulled the trigger tonight. I got all the top specs they had and will update with how the company deals with my purchase. $785 no tax and free Fedex shipping. Images are of my selection and model.
Update on my order!!! So the day after I placed my order, I got an email from a guy named Mike confirming my order. Not sure if it was automated because he did not reply to my response. Once I got my tracking number, I found out that it was neither of the options given to me when ordering, which was DHL or FEDEX, I went with FEDEX. Today I check my email and got an email from UPS, stating there are tarrif charges. $72.50 on top of the already paid $785 Should be a few more days....
The Smarty-Trend is in my hands now. This is what to expect when ordering the highest model they have, except the cables and gift you choose would be different. The cables change with the factory radio you have, I have the JBL Navigation unit so they provide the can bus for the JBL system. I picked the front dash camera and I must say its big, I thought it would be smaller. Here is the unboxing pictures
Got it installed and tested and working, kinda sorta. They sent me the wrong harness and so the system is not connected for sure to the factory rear camera. I got audio but cant yet get it to connect to wifi. I noticed in another thread they did the same thing with the harness. I emailed them but will have to wait for a reply during working hours. In the picture with my factory harness, I am only connected to the white harnesses, the other four are not connected at all. The only reason I have audio is because they sent the can bus but why wouldnt they think...."hey this will need the complete harnesses" not just a basic non JBL harness but use a can bus? I put in the notes before I placed the order, what my car model was and oem navigation model. Then they asked me to send a picture in a possibly automated email, so I did. Yet my order was sent incomplete. I am unable to use the front camera since I can not connect to wifi and I guess download the app or activate it. The kit fits and snaps into place and not like other members installations so that is user error not design.
