That was the up-front payment for film rights, so she already has it.

$40 M for the film rights alone (of which she kept 28 M for herself), another $35 M for promotion and marketing. By my understanding, that $75 M doesn't include any of the filming and production costs, so the total is even higher.

 

That's still cheaper than that plane that was given to him.......

There are congressional districts in the area that normally vote red, ten such districts statewide (though only eight GOP congresscritters at this instant). Precinct-wise, probably far more.

 

Legally, that 'gift' is really given to the United States, not to any person. So a future Administration could requisition it for another use.

My old boss got a university deferment and did a PHD in electronic engineering to get out of going to Vietnam. He never ended up in any Silicon valley firms, whereas I worked for two different ones without a BS in electrical engineering. You know what they say, those that can do; and those that can't teach. He was pretty slimy and I had him in HR on several occasions. He would lie to them and I showed them the emails that proved his accusations was a lie. I don't know what HR told him the second time around; but he left me alone after that. I did tell HR that I was compiling a pattern of abuse case against the facility for blaming lower ranking member with NO sign-off authority for his mistakes.
