Hi @scotched I am an electrical engineering university student in Sydney, Australia. Currently my workshop is struggling with communication failure with a Prius 2023. I want to analyse the wiring diagram but the colour codes are different from the 2018 models that we are using. I don't know how to PM you but I am very interested in making beneficial use of the Prius Gen 5 manual that you have. Hope you have an amazing day.

Hey brother! May I please request a copy and the link for you cup of coffee? I’ve rewired & resurrected a 2024 from the fire wall to the back bumper! Now I want to add the factory power trunk, if possible… The struts, obnoxious warning chime, module, & harnesses, have all been installed, except the frills that my aunt does not want, ie: kick sensor & remote key fob button, dash button would be great, but is not currently present. Just barebones: button on the outside of the rear lid opens and button on the inside of the liftgate closes. Only thing is, it will operate from scan tool, but the new power latch remains seen as “locked” by the central locking computer, so that needs to be reconfigured/added in. When closing, pinch sensors need to be overridden & jumped since they are not present. Will need some computer coding & codes and some wiring diagrams to accomplish… Any help, plus the techs, would be amazing & greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!
