So I’ll keep it short. I broke a thermistor, while replacing 2 modules and want to know if it’s possible to just splice the wires into one of the other 2? Would it get significant signal back . Or would it still throw an error code?

Fix it right, or don't fix it at all.

Yeah thanks very helpful. It’s my personal car I’m not trying to flip it. what difference would it make if it only had 2 not 3 sensors. Would the battery blow up? Wait to late.. that already happened. I’m just trying to move it into the garage before the city tows it. So I’ll go ahead and let you know how it went Brian.

Turns out it was just a ground issue. Drove fine with broken sensor. I did eventually buy used harness for 30$ on eBay. That got rid of check engine light. So by just replacing 2 battery cells (90$ eBay) saved 1,000$ on battery replacement. Car drove better than ever . 2 days later some donkey stole mine and 2 other neighbors catalytic converter. **** driving a Prius in California. Or buy aftermarket cat and keep old one just for smog tests.
