I need Houston, TX Prius mechanic. I got codes p0a40, p0a41. And transmission is revving but not locking into wheels. I pray it's just a bad wire harness. 2007, 82,000 miles. Please assist. Thanks!

Update. Thank you for awesome tips members have provided. I gently ( brittle plastic! ) disconnected M9 connector. I sprayed & allowed to dry metal contact points with Electronics /Mass Air Flow cleaner. Did this 3-4 times. Reconnected. No more codes now for ~11 months.

Thanks for the follow up on this code. I had bad wiring on the M10 connector and checked out the ohms on the M9 connector as well and fixed those as well as some weren't getting the correct ohms. My P0A40 and P0A41 eventually went away over time but it was over a span of a couple of weeks or so but now I'm stuck with a P0A2D code. I wonder if this is also part of the harness on the transmission or connector. I will try again to take off both connectors and check for ohms and clean the connectors to see if this goes away
