Anyone in the Vancouver BC Area With Decent Gen1 Modules?

    Hi.

    Just had one cell on one module go. I would like to keep this pack going if possible. Other cells seem fine. Anyone have old modules or an old battery?

    You might try these people. They even have a location in Vancouver BC! I had them do a mobile install of the whole HV battery "with new generation cells" in Aug. '24. My 2002 runs great, and we're having a cold winter here in PA. Maybe Greentec will sell you individual modules? Doesn't hurt to ask.

    After looking into how much work is involved in refurbing these cells and then seeing the reasonable prices at GreenTech, I decided to just buy a pack. I don't know how I missed these guys. I just ordered a refurbished pack with a one year warranty. Prices seem good and It's local to me.

    Thanks for the tip! I'll update this when I install it.

    Glad to be able to help. I think you made a smart decision to go with the whole pack. I decided to get the "new cells" version, as my '02 is otherwise in great shape and I want to be driving it until the finale ultimo. I've recently spent a good chunk of change for a body shop to do rust remediation, too. Good luck with your install!
