I am resurrecting a 2010 Prius. Drove in high water about 3 years ago and did not want to start. Is running now. I thought water might also have entered the transmission trough the breathing hole so i took out the transmission oil. There was some mark of water in it. I rinsed the transmission with some clean WS but it seemed like now there is more coolant (pink Toyota type) in the oil. Is this possible? i have looked at the diagram and the transmission is cooled on the side of the inverter. The only place that water might go into the transmission oil is in the transmission. Is this something that happens?

My bad. There must have been some water left in the transmission on my first release. I did another flush and no water. I'm good. Hoping that water didn't do harm on the transmission

If not, they’re usually pretty cheap salvage
