My "New" 2005 Prius has been shaking when accelerating and decelerating. Engine seems fine on start up, no code for misfires, and just simply sounds pretty good overall. There are some feeling like the engine might be moving. I got the two front tires balanced.

I am thinking it is likely the engine mount? Thoughts? Is there also a transmission mount that may need replacing?

As far as replacing, should I just pull the one off my dead 2006 or wrecked 2009 and see if that fixes the problem? The ones on the 2006 are effectively already disconnected.

Watching videos, looks like an easy job in generally that likely just requires a pipe and/or breaker bar?

A half inch drive ratchet or DeWalt gun. Depending on locale. I'd try n get the 09 . Just for the later parts . Put a big old pipe in the engine bay and try and rock your engine for an aft just use a pipe carefully

How about putting on a set of known good tires on all 4 corners?
