What's with the 2010 steering wheel. Whenever there's high humidity, the rubberized steering wheel 'melts' and my hands get all black. The dealer sleazed out of a recall for the roof - pearl white. I put some primer on it and Toyota touch up paint when I first noticed it. Then I got a recall notice in the mail for this issue. Dealer said I touched-up a spot, so the warranty is void.
Never noticed that on my persona wheel unless it was treated with some off chemical .even gen2 rubber steer wheels are pretty durable.
