Backup camera triggering C1259 code help.

I upgraded the radio in my 2013 Prius with a pretty cheap amazon head unit. The head unit came with its own wiring harness and when i wired it like the manual said to tapped into the backup lights for power and wired the the "convenience wire" to the wire labeled "back" on the wiring harness that came with the raido. i attached the ground wire to ground bolt on the back of the car and when i started the car i got a C1259 code which is a "Hybrid Vehicle (HV) System Regenerative Malfunction". after doing some reading online i figured out since it was that code alone it could be a simple fix so i read the manual that came with the radio and saw that the "back" pink wire is labeld in the menu as a "park sensor" wire which was causeing some sort of park button error which triggered the c1259. has anyone ever ran into this issue and is there a fix.
