2026 model cars will have a government mandated kill switch

Following some re-tuning of state laws, communities in my region have been jumping on this bandwagon for several years.

The red light cameras seemed to start with the most crash-prone intersections, and a town lacking any decent retail-commercial tax base so needed additional revenue, put speed cameras next to its schools. But the movement has accelerated. A rash of students getting struck and injured in crosswalks next to their schools, isn't helping the camera opponents.
