    Meanwhile Gen5 drivers never wave back every time I wave at them... It's like they don't know about the cult they signed up for yet?

    Ohh. Well it’s basically you posting an ad as a brand new member with no history or prior introduction to the forum. I had to do some digging before approving your post to make sure you weren’t a bot. We’ve gotten a lot of bots lately as it’s been easier with AI to generate fake text.

    The fate of this forum will follow the fate of the Prius itself, methinks. The Prius is no longer the only game in town thanks to the numerous hybrid options across the Toyota lineup, not to mention other manufacturers.

    To be clear, I am not cheering for the downfall of the Prius (or this forum), rather I'm simply sharing my observations.

    It's much like the VW bug and VW van and how long their community lasted... Also like the ongoing culture of old Toyota trucks, there's a huge community, a whole society of DIY culture that keeps their beloved vehicles rolling down the road for many, many decades. I don't see the Prius scene dying out anytime soon, but I do think Gen5 owners don't fit into this culture very well.
