Help (16C1)Throwing code P0AC2

    2016 priusC 1. check hybrid battery alert and check engine light are on. Code p0ac2.

    Looked up the code and wondering how exactly I could check to see if the sensor module on the side of the hybrid battery is bad. We took all the covers off and checked all wires and connectors and nothing is corroded. Is there something else I should be looking for ? Idk anything about hybrids unfortunately and can't afford a mechanic right now.

    That's not a common error code, doubt you're going to hear much from DIYers.

    Get a subscription to the official repair manual. That's only about $20 to get started, and you'll have access to the real-deal troubleshooting steps for that situation, same as a hired mechanic.

    There should be around five pages of troubleshooting info for that code, judging by the gen 3 liftback repair manual, which is probably similar.

    2012 Prius c has 222,000 mi on it It worked before it's at and it's after like 3 months but I did it's been sent since December 18th and I did poorly orange plug and I did pull the battery terminals from it when it was sitting for those almost 3 months
