Ok so im a newbie. I was installing a aftermarket android head unit. At some point during the install the check hybrid system message came on and all the lights on the dash. Vehicle still starts and goes into drive and reverse but car isn't happy about it. During the install I disconnected the park and eco drive mode connectors while the car was off. I know I turned the car on after the head unit was partially installed to see if it powered on. Some point after that the check hybrid system came on. I was having problems with the head unit fitment and unplugged the connectors to mess with it. I believe around this time I blew the radio fuse.

I have since plugged the original head unit back in and all disconnected connectors. Specifically including the park and eco mode ones. Im guessing the car went into crazy mode due to me turning it on with those electric connections disconnected. But now I cant get the check hybrid system to go away.

The 12 volt battery is fully charged. I've tried disconnecting the negative cable and waiting 10 minutes. Didn't work. I've tried disconnecting the white neutral plug on the fuse box and the hybrid safety fuse and waiting the 10 minutes. Also no help

Any ideas on what to check?

Use a good scanner to read the trouble codes that the car is trying to tell you about.
