That wouldn't be so bad, but you can't minimize the nag screen which takes up half the cluster. There are lights too, that light up, so I can't see why it shouldn't be an option. I like that screen. I wonder if there is a parameter somewhere that can be set, or a secret button sequence.....
And, in another snow-related matter, you can see what the visibility out the rear window is like, by size of the heating grid. Not too huge, lol. And I believe the Michelin X-Ices did give some additional traction, even after the plows slushed things up with the salt. I live on a town road on a hill, ie, not so quick on the plow/salt/dirt, so they were good for sure there.
Mine comes right back after acknowledging. Yours doesn't? edit: If you don't have a feature that doesn't require it, it might come back. I couldn't get that to work with the front radar though. (These sensors were covered with snow)
I can back out of mine, but the warning returns shortly. Even worse, the adaptive quality of the cruise control quits well ahead of the warning.
Almost no warning can be dismissed - they pop back up after 10 seconds. That includes basically all TSS problems, as well other "xxx failure, visit your dealer" messages. The only things that can be dismissed are stuff like "fuel low" or "service due".
I wouldn't even want to use that sensor stuff while it's snowing. I just like the screen and use it a lot.
I do not recall mine coming back but I have not driven with the front radar snow covered. I have most every safety feature on my XLE, but no dashcam.
